Our new mission:
"Pregnancy & Family Support Services is an inner-city agency dedicated to offering services that support pregnant women, foster family life, empower individuals and grow community".

Founded in 1973 as a crisis line for pregnant women, Pregnancy and Family Support Services Inc.( Formerly known as Pregnancy Distress Family Support Services Inc.) is committed to offering immediate and long term, quality support and counselling to women, men, and families seeking help.
Over the years, the agency has established a significant presence in the inner city. We serve families with multiple needs from two locations. We also operate a thrift shop which offers an important service to the community. All revenue generated by the thrift shop goes directly into agency programs and services. Volunteer opportunities are also available for both women and men.
Incorporated as a non-profit organization, the agency is support through private donations, The United Way, Manitoba Child Daycares, The Dept. of Child and Family Support, and through other organized community groups, corporations, and foundations. The Mennonite Central Committee has provided volunteer staff since 1977.
